Question · open discussion

If there's a typhoon warning and I cancel my trip, will insurance cover me?

I'm supposed to fly to the Philippines next month, but it's typhoon season. If a storm hits and I decide not to go (even if flights aren't officially cancelled), will my insurance refund my bookings?

Or does the airline have to cancel first? How do natural disaster clauses actually work?
