How do you even tell if it’s allergies or something else when your cat keeps scratching?
My cat started licking her paws constantly and rubbing her face against the carpet. I thought it was fleas at first, but the vet didn’t find any. She mentioned it could be allergies, but to what? Food? Dust? Pollen? I’m so lost.

How did you identify what triggered your cat’s allergies?

Mine’s allergic to beef! Took us months to figure out because I was switching treats and foods without realising they all had beef protein in them. Once I found a limited-ingredient food, her fur finally grew back on her chin, where she’d been scratching.
