How do I get a kitten used to being handled without scaring them?
When I first adopted my kitten, she would hide under the couch every time I tried to pick her up. I didn’t want to force her and make her afraid of people, but I also knew she needed to get used to being handled for vet visits and grooming later. How can I gently socialize her without overwhelming her?

Sign in to commentI learned that kittens trust routines. Feed, play, cuddle in that order. Once they know what to expect, they start to relax.
