What are the first signs of arthritis in older cats?
My 13-year-old cat doesn’t jump onto the bed as easily as she used to. She hesitates, and sometimes she just gives up and meows for me to lift her. I’m worried it might be arthritis, but I don’t know if I’m overthinking it or if this is just normal aging. What should I watch for?

Could be arthritis, but also worth checking her claws and weight. Sometimes, if a cat’s claws overgrow or they have gained a bit, it can make jumping harder. But if she’s showing stiffness, it’s likely her joints.
