Can cats get depressed after losing a sibling?
One of my cats passed recently, and the surviving one has stopped eating and barely moves. Is it possible my cat is grieving?

Sign in to commentThe same thing happened to me last year. My two cats had been together since they were kittens. When one passed, the other refused to sleep in their usual spot for weeks. I left out one of her blankets and tried to talk to him often. It eventually helped, but it took time. You just need to be patient.
