Can two female cats from different litters become bonded?
I have a 4-year-old Maine Coon and just introduced a 6-month-old kitten I adopted from a local shelter. They don’t fight, but they don’t cuddle or groom each other either. I'm wondering if a bond could still develop or if I should stop hoping.

Bonding looks different for every pair. Not all cats cuddle or groom; some just enjoy coexisting peacefully. That might be their version of bonding.
