Looking for cat feeder recommendations!

So, I’ve officially joined the cat parent club. A friend of mine had to relocate suddenly and couldn’t take her cat along—long story short, that’s how Mango became part of my life. He’s adjusting well (lots of naps and even more zoomies), but feeding him is where I’m a bit stuck.

Right now, I’m using a basic bowl, but I’ve already noticed he tends to overeat if I’m not careful. I’ve been reading up on automatic feeders and portion control, and it looks like that might be the best route.

I’m looking for something that’s:

Durable

Easy to clean

Doesn’t jam or get clogged

Ideally with a timer or portion setting

I’m open to both local store options and online recommendations. If you’ve used a feeder you swear by—or even one to avoid—I’d love to hear about it!

Avoid the ones with "touch screens" that look flashy. I got one the other day, and it jammed constantly. Not great with round kibble or more than 2 meals a day

I’d suggest anything with:
Airtight kibble storage
Programmable timer
Stainless steel or BPA-free plastic

The HoneyGuaridan A36 from Amazon UK is quite popular with vet clients. Easy to program and doesn’t clog. If Mango tends to scoff his food, also consider a slow-feeder bowl to go with it.
