I rescued a stray and now I'm in over my head

She was so sweet outside, begging for food and affection. I brought her in, and she's feral, terrified, and aggressive. She's destroyed my spare room trying to escape, won't use the litter box, and won't eat unless I leave the room. I wanted to help her but I'm completely unprepared for this level of trauma and fear.

If she’s that scared, you might actually be doing her more harm than good keeping her inside. Feral cats don’t always adapt. Sometimes the kindest thing is to let them live the life they understand, safely and sterilized.
