How often should I be bathing my parrot?

Okay, confession: I’m still unsure how often my parrot should bathe.
Sometimes they love the spray bottle. Other times they act like I’ve betrayed them.
I’ve read everything from daily mists to weekly showers.
What actually works for your parrot?
Do you let them decide, or do you have a set routine?
