He thinks I'm too obsessed with her. I think he doesn't care enough. Every decision becomes an argument. Should she sleep in the bedroom? How much to spend on vet care? Whether she needs a companion cat. The cat is driving a wedge between us, and I don't know how to fix it without choosing between them.

Sign in to commentWow… I can relate so much. My partner used to roll his eyes at every cat decision, and we argued constantly too. I realized the only way forward was to set boundaries and communicate clearly like who handles what, what’s non-negotiable, and compromises that still keep the cat happy. You don’t have to choose between your cat and your partner, but you do need rules everyone agrees on.
