CatsI feel guilty for rehoming my first cat before adopting another
Years ago, I rehomed my first cat due to financial issues. Now I’ve adopted again, and while I adore my new cat, the guilt hits hard sometimes. I wonder if my first one was okay. Has anyone else ever gone through this learning to forgive yourself as a cat owner?

Sign in to commentI’ve been there. Had to rehome my cat during a breakup. It still hurts years later, but forgiving yourself is part of moving forward. You’re giving another cat a loving home now.
