Should I Insure an older dog?

My sweet Daisy is turning 10 this year, and I’m worried about her health.

But most insurance plans for senior dogs are expensive or limited. I’m scared of not being able to afford treatment later if something happens.

Has anyone here insured an older dog before? Was it worth the cost, or did you find other ways to manage vet bills?
