How to potty train a puppy

Potty training takes time, but consistency is your best friend. Take your dog out first thing in the morning, after meals, naps, and play.

Always go to the same spot and use the same phrase: “Go potty.” When they go, praise like they just won gold. Accidents? Don’t scold. Clean it up and try again next time. Dogs want to please, you just have to show them how. And yes, treats help!
