Why birds are the comedians of the animal kingdom

You know how your parrot seems to understand your mood better than anyone else? Well, that’s not the only thing they’ve got going for them. They also have impeccable timing when it comes to humor. My parrot has this hilarious trick where he’ll squawk loudly every time I’m on a video call, just when the conversation gets serious. It's like he knows it’ll make me laugh. Sometimes, I think he’s secretly auditioning for a role as a stand-up comedian. If you've ever laughed at something your parrot did at just the right moment, you know exactly what I mean.
