Help! My cat has been peeing outside her litter

Lately, I’ve been noticing small puddles in places they definitely shouldn’t be my hallway rug, the bathroom mat, and even once on the couch. At first, I thought maybe Luna was just being rebellious or acting out.

She’s always been so good with her litter box, so this took me by surprise. But then I realised the timing: I recently switched her litter brand because the store ran out of our usual one, and around that same time, I also moved her litter box to the laundry room to make more space in the bathroom. I wonder if either of those changes (or both) threw her off.

She still eats, plays, and cuddles like normal, but I’m starting to get worried. I plan to take her to the vet soon just in case it’s a medical issue, but I thought I’d ask here, too. Has anyone else dealt with this? What helped? Did your cat go back to using the litter box?
