I tried brushing my cat’s teeth once, never again.

I kept seeing all these posts and videos about how important it is to brush your cat’s teeth. So I bought a little cat toothbrush and some poultry-flavored toothpaste and thought, “How hard could it be?”

Y’all. I barely got the brush near her mouth before I was on the floor, holding my hand like it had been through war. She hissed, bolted under the bed, and didn’t come out for hours.

Now, every time she sees the brush, she looks at me like, “Try me again and see what happens.”
So yeah, I think I’ll stick with dental treats and regular vet cleanings

Has anyone here actually succeeded with tooth brushing.
