The lesson my dog taught me about patience

Training a puppy is not for the faint of heart. When I got my dog, I thought it would be easy, some treats, a few commands, and done. I was so wrong. She chewed everything, refused to listen, and tested my patience every single day. But over time, I realized it wasn’t about her learning, it was about me learning, too. I had to slow down, be consistent, and celebrate small wins. The day she finally mastered “sit” felt like winning the lottery. She didn’t just become well-trained, she made me a more patient person.
