The Time My Parrot Outsmarted Me

I thought I was the smart one in the house… until I got my parrot, Kiwi. One day, I gave him a foraging toy filled with treats. I expected it to take him a while to figure out. Instead, he watched me set it up, gave me a knowing look, and opened it in less than five seconds.

Thinking it was a fluke, I tried again, making it more challenging. He solved it even faster! From that day on, I realized Kiwi was always one step ahead. He learned to open his cage door (we had to secure it better), figured out how to get into snack containers, and even mimics my voice perfectly to call my dog over.
