Parrot Morning Routines

This morning, my parrot decided he was the boss of the house again. The moment the first ray of sunlight came through the window, he started shouting like an alarm clock that refuses to snooze.

I thought I could sneak five more minutes in bed, but nope, he got louder until I came over.

The funny part is, he won’t even let me touch my own breakfast first. I made tea and bread, and he gave me that stare like, “Really? Where’s mine?” So, I had to cut up some apples and serve him before I ate anything.

Only then did he calm down.

After breakfast, he spent forever preening his feathers, like he was preparing for a photoshoot.

And just when I thought he was done, he started chatting away, repeating words and whistles, expecting me to answer back like it’s our morning meeting.

Living with a parrot is like living with a tiny bossy roommate who has no off button.

But honestly, I wouldn’t trade those noisy, funny mornings for anything.
