I didn’t want a dog… now I can’t imagine life without one

When my husband first suggested getting a dog, I wasn’t thrilled. The responsibility, the mess, the early morning walks, it sounded exhausting. But then we brought home Ella, and my whole perspective changed. She became my shadow, my hiking buddy, and my biggest source of joy.

Now, I can’t imagine life without her. Funny how the things we resist the most often turn out to be the best parts of our lives.
