When I got my parrot, Rio, I never expected him to become such a huge part of my life. At first, he was shy, barely making a sound. But day by day, he started mimicking little things, my laughter, the doorbell, even the sound of my phone ringing.

One morning, after weeks of practicing, Rio looked me straight in the eyes and said, “I love you.” I thought I imagined it. But then he said it again! It was the sweetest, most unexpected moment. Now, every time I leave the house, he calls out, “I love you,” and my heart melts.
