How do you make cage time less stressful for a parrot that hates being inside?

My parrot gets really upset the moment I try to put them in their cage.
They scream, flap, and pace like they’re trapped, even though the cage is spacious and filled with toys.

I want them to feel safe in there, not punished.
Have you dealt with this before?

What helped your bird get more comfortable with cage time?
Any tips for making it feel more like a cozy retreat than a prison?
