Birds of a feather… do they really flock together?
We’ve all heard the saying—birds of a feather flock together.
But does that actually apply when you’ve got more than one parrot under one roof?
I thought getting a second parrot would mean instant friendship. What I got was two divas fighting over the same perch, side-eyeing each other from across the room, and occasionally screaming in perfect unison, just not in harmony.
Eventually, they found their groove. They don’t cuddle, but they keep each other company, and somehow the chaos feels less... lonely.
Do they preen each other, share toys, or keep a polite distance?
Or is it a full-blown case of feathered sibling rivalry?
What worked or didn’t work when introducing them?
Did you separate cages, do slow introductions, or just hoped for the best?
Share your experience with parrot pairings because sometimes the flock doesn’t flock quite like we imagined!
