Things My Dog Thinks Are Enemies
Living with a dog means living with a tiny, four-legged bodyguard who sees danger… everywhere. And while we might think they’re overreacting, they’re convinced they’re saving the world. Every. Single. Day. Here are the top “threats” my dog takes very seriously:
The Vacuum The ultimate monster. It growls. It eats dirt. It follows us around. Clearly evil. Must be barked at, attacked, and avoided at all costs.
The Delivery Guy They knock. They wear uniforms. They leave mysterious boxes at the door. According to my dog, this is 100% suspicious activity.
That One Plastic Bag Blowing Down the Street It's floating. It's unpredictable. It’s probably up to something. My dog will stand guard until that bag disappears or explodes (hopefully neither).
My Slippers Every morning, it’s like he forgets they exist. He growls. He circles. Then, once they’re “defeated,” he steals them and hides them under the couch.
His Own Reflection in the Mirror A dog… in his house? How dare he! There’s a full-on barking match until he realizes it’s just him. Every. Single. Time. Dogs have an unmatched talent for turning everyday items into drama.
But life’s never boring with them around, right?

Sign in to commentHaha😂 that’s such a perfect list! My dog totally has a few “enemies” like that too. Especially the vacuum—he acts like it’s a roaring dragon invading his territory. And mirrors? Oh boy, he definitely thinks his reflection is some kind of mysterious rival.
