What do you do when your parrot suddenly stops eating their favourite food?

One day, my parrot was obsessed with carrots. The next day? Total rejection.
She looked at them, picked them up, dropped them dramatically, and walked away like I’d insulted her.

I panicked a little. Was she sick? Bored? Being sassy for no reason?

Parrots are known for their strong opinions and sudden food strikes, but it can still be worrying, especially when it’s something they usually love.

So I want to ask:
What do you do when your parrot suddenly refuses a favourite treat or food?
Do you swap it out? Try again later? Hide it in something else?

I ended up skipping carrots for a few days and reintroducing them with a little sweet potato mash. It worked, sort of. Now she only eats carrots if they’re warm. Go figure.
