How a simple car ride became my dog’s worst day

Excited to take Daisy for her first park trip, I buckled her into the back seat. Five minutes in, she threw up twice. She was shaking by the time we got there.

We worked on it slowly. Short drives, treats in the car without moving, and soft music. After a few weeks, she finally hopped in wagging her tail.
