I thought my parrot was fearless… until I peeled a banana.

She stared at it, fluffed up, let out a dramatic scream, and flew to the curtain rod like it was a flying snake.

I’ve never seen her move that fast. Now, I can’t even eat one in peace without her side-eyeing me like I’ve betrayed her.

Parrots are funny like that, brave one minute, completely undone by a harmless object the next.
