When the drama queen strikes…

Every evening like clockwork, my parrot puts on a performance worthy of an Oscar.

If I walk past her without saying hello?
She lets out the most dramatic sigh you've ever heard from a bird.
Then she turns her back like she’s deeply offended.
But two seconds later… she peeks over her wing to see if I’m watching.

And if I laugh? That’s her cue.
She starts fake coughing, yes, fake coughing because she knows it gets my attention.
Then finishes with a “Good girl!” like she’s praising herself.

Honestly, I don’t know who’s training who.

It never fails to crack me up. Even on bad days, she pulls me into her silly little world.
